Full-Charge Bookkeeper (full time)
Property Maintenance Corp-Gardena, CA

JOB DUTIES REQUIRED (but not limited to):

Full accounting: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Journal Entries
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Manage Loan Payments
Insurance review, payments and preparation for renewal
Prepare and process payroll, for external payroll service
Process year-end 1099 forms & reports, record and maintain 1099 & W-9 info
Prepare financial reports for management review
Review general ledger and work with outside accountant for tax preparation
Month-end & Year-end closings
Process cash receipts, execute remote deposits and wire transfers
Execute invoicing when needed
Handle sensitive and/or confidential material and information appropriately, with good judgement and discretion
Some basic duties related to HR, new hires, compliance, temporary disability insurance and workers comp filings
QuickBooks Online (Mac) is used, along with Filemaker database program (Mac)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicant should be highly organized, detail oriented and possess outstanding follow through skills
Self-Starter with a strong sense of urgency
Organized, punctual, consistent and a self-starter
Ability to proactively identify, resolve and communicate issues
Three (3)+ years of bookkeeping experience, QBooks & office administration and management
Being familiar with Prevailing Wage job management is helpful
Bi-Lingual Spanish is helpful (not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
