Job Summary

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced CNC Programmer in Tempe, AZ. This role is ideal for a hands-on CNC professional with strong Haas machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting experience who enjoys working directly with customers, technical teams, and manufacturing equipment.

The CNC Programmer will support machine programming, customer training, runoffs, process optimization, and technical issue resolution for CNC machining equipment. This is a highly visible applications engineering role that combines hands-on machining expertise with customer-facing support, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving machining performance, and helping customers succeed.

This opportunity offers a collaborative environment working closely with Sales and Service teams, supportive technical leadership, and a mix of office, shop floor, and customer-site work. Candidates who enjoy teamwork, variety, travel, and continuous technical learning will find this role engaging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and optimize Haas CNC machines, including tooling, fixturing, machine runoffs, and process validation.
Interpret blueprints and develop efficient machining processes, CNC programs, and setup procedures.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to troubleshoot CNC programming, setup, and machine operation issues.
Train customers on machine operation, programming, setup methods, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Support pre-sales demonstrations, customer runoffs, trade shows, and technical training events.
Maintain accurate project documentation, customer support records, and follow-up on technical issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Direct hire opportunity.
Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
Location: Tempe, AZ.
