Full Job Description

Focused Solutions, LLC, is in search of a licensed mental health professional for our Managed Behavioral Health Practice.

What we offer Contracted Providers:

Control over provider’s own schedule
Continuous referrals
Weekly Pay outs
Administrative staff that manages the insurance and EAP paneling process, schedules intake assessments and investigates claims issues, leaving minimal administrative responsibilities for the provider
Autonomy to set parameters on client populations per provider’s area of expertise/interest (e.g. population, age range, individual/couples/families, diagnosis, etc.)
Support from a warm, established group practice with experienced clinicians offering a wealth of expertise in various parts of the field
Flexibility to select hours ranging from part time to full time
A “hybrid” model allowing flexibility to have virtual and/or in-person sessions
Access to free CEU's through insurance vendors

Focused Solutions, LLC is a growing Private Practice with locations in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and Tennessee offering private mental health services and employee assistance program counseling. Focused Solutions, LLC contracts with multiple Employee Assistance Programs and Behavioral Health Organizations to provide services and promote wellness for organizations, individuals and families. We are an innovative company that is privately owned and operated. Our motto is “Client First,” and we offer services that are both caring and effective.

*We are currently searching for providers for our Washington, D.C. location. Applicants must be independently licensed in the District of Columbia in order to be considered*

Position Purpose: The Part-time Provider is responsible for providing behavioral health interventions to individual employees and their family members. This key role will be responsible for direct clinical interventions for those that are private payers, EAP members of contracted companies, and members of contracted MBH organizations.

Who should Apply: Any Master's level Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist with licensure at the highest (clinical) level to include LICSW, LCP, or LMFT.

Benefits for Therapists: We panel you with insurances, provide the referrals, initiate scheduling, and check eligibility and benefits. You enjoy a flexible work schedule to include the option of seeing clients via telehealth. We pay for all time worked, not only for clinical session hours.

Hours/Schedule: This role is a part-time employee position, which can absorb 15-20 hours a week. Hours will incorporate at least one 4-hour block in the evening and/or one 4-hour block on the weekends. Schedules are negotiable outside of the evening/weekend 4-hour block.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide ethical clinical interventions for adults, adolescents, children and families
Maintain clinical documentation as required.
Communicate availability with office manager
Communicate with EAPs per protocol, i.e. clinical reviews
Be available for clinical urgent needs for concurrent clients
Be available at least once quarterly for bi-weekly practice meetings
Keep updated license(s) and liability insurance
Be proficient with billing databases, HIPAA compliant video platforms, Microsoft 365/Outlook and Office Suites

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Preference for candidates experienced with working with diverse populations
A master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling field.
Professional licensure required.
3 years post-advanced licensure required (LICSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc.)
Demonstrates knowledge and interest in EAP clinical assessment and case management.
Diverse experience in employee assistance, counseling, social work, marriage and family, and/or mental health services.
Knowledge and experience in core EAP services and community resources.
Superior active listening skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to all client concerns.
Clinical therapeutic experience in community mental health, hospital or other agency/organization offering CBT, insight oriented, DBT, etc.
Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in order to resolve client issues effectively.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage schedules.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
