Full Time Security Supervisor

- Work site is located in Asheville, NC.

- Pay starting at $20-25/hr, commensurate upon experience.

Hiring Unarmed, Weekend, and Evening Shifts (12hrs) - Security Supervisor

Must have a HS diploma or GED/College Graduates Strongly Encouraged

Starting at $20-25 / hour, with consideration of higher wage commensurate upon experience.

In the role of a Security Officer, your responsibilities will involve patrolling and observing properties and ensuring the safety of the area. Our properties include Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Residential, and others.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or GED
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Dominion Group will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

The Security Supervisor oversees daily security operations, ensuring the protection of property, personnel, and visitors. They manage security teams, enforce policies and procedures, and respond to incidents or emergencies efficiently.

Supervision and Leadership

Manage and supervise security staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure all security personnel follow organizational policies and protocols.
Conduct regular team briefings and provide updates on security procedures.

Training and Development

Conduct security training sessions for team members, including emergency drills and procedural updates.
Keep the team updated on the latest security threats and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are an advantage.

· Experience: Proven experience in a security or supervisory role (2-5 years preferred).

· Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Work Conditions

Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 12hr shifts.
Physically fit to perform foot patrols and respond to incidents.
Exposure to varying weather conditions if working outdoors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
