The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow, the Credentialing and Licensing team supports the organization’s ability to deliver uninterrupted services to patients by ensuring payer credentialing, enrollment, and compliance requirements are met across Aeroflow Health and its subsidiaries. The team works closely with Compliance, Legal, Provider Relations, Emerging Markets and Facilities to support growth initiatives and ongoing operations.
The Credentialing and Licensing team plays a critical behind-the-scenes role, ensuring Aeroflow maintains strong payer relationships, accurate documentation, and compliance with complex regulatory requirements. This work directly supports Aeroflow’s ability to expand into new markets and continue serving patients without disruption.
This role is primarily based in our Asheville, NC office. While collaboration happens in person, the team operates with flexibility, and a hybrid schedule is offered.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Credentialing Coordinator. A successful Credentialing Coordinator is highly resourceful, proactive, and comfortable managing complex processes that often involve multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and waiting periods. The ideal candidate can independently assess situations, identify next steps, and keep work moving forward even when all information is not immediately available.
In this role, the candidate can expect to:
- Manage and submit government (Medicaid) and commercial payer credentialing and revalidation applications
- Proactively communicate with payers regarding application status, documentation needs, and approval timelines
- Maintain accurate, organized credentialing records and supporting documentation
- Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Provider Relations, Corporate Development, and Emerging Markets teams
- Obtain and submit insurance certificates, surety bonds, accreditation documentation, and annual filings
- Prepare and process attestations, provider directory verifications, and roster submissions
- Track and process license renewals related to provider enrollment
- Complete CHOW submissions and other payer-specific updates
- Maintain digital credentialing files and submission records
- Process inbound payer communications, including physical mail received in-office
- Special Project, for example, researching new license requirements or how we can enroll as a particular provider type with Medicaid plans

Credentialing processes often involve periods where applications, verifications, or approvals are pending with outside organizations. Successful candidates are comfortable operating in this environment, proactively tracking outstanding items, identifying opportunities to move work forward, and managing uncertainty without needing constant guidance.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in an administrative, operations, compliance, or coordination-focused role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and database-style tools
- Strong time management skills and reliable follow-through
- Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
You Might Also Have
- Prior experience in healthcare, credentialing, enrollment, or payer-facing roles
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments
- Familiarity with database-driven tools such as Microsoft Access or similar systems
- Background in legal support, compliance, or operations
