Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Low Voltage Foreman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems across construction sites. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in electrical systems, project management, and safety protocols. As a Low Voltage Foreman, you will coordinate teams, ensure quality standards are met, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Your energetic approach will drive efficiency and foster a culture of safety and excellence on every job site.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of low voltage installation crews, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute system installations
Manage project workflows using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid to track progress and resource allocation
Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets specifications, codes, and client expectations
Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections
Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling, and contract management to ensure project milestones are achieved
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for system testing and troubleshooting to diagnose electrical issues efficiently

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management with a focus on low voltage systems or electrical projects
Supervising experience leading teams in construction or related fields
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or similar platforms
Ability to read technical schematics and use testing equipment like ohmmeters effectively
Excellent project scheduling skills with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of contracts, budgeting processes, and quality control standards in construction projects
Valid OSHA certification along with comprehensive understanding of construction site safety protocols
Hands-on experience with pipeline wiring, conduit installation, system schematics, and low voltage wiring standards
