Full Job Description

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate and competitive bids to potential clients. This role requires a meticulous and organized individual who is well-versed in construction management and can effectively negotiate contracts.

**Duties:**

- Prepare detailed construction estimates and bid packages for clients.

- Conduct site visits and measure the construction area to ensure accurate measurements.

- Utilize software such as GDS to create detailed construction estimates.

- Review and analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the cost of materials and labor.

- Collaborate with project managers to determine the best approach for completing construction projects within budget.

- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring that the company's interests are protected while meeting client expectations.

- Maintain accurate records of construction projects, including project costs and timelines.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in construction estimating.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.

- Proficiency in construction estimating software, including GDS.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Applicants with experience in cost control and construction site management are highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
