Bilingual Customer Service Attendant (Fast-Paced, On-Your-Feet Role)
LaundroLab North Austin

This is NOT a “sit behind the counter and scroll your phone” laundromat job. We are one of the busiest, highest-rated laundromats in Austin. The phone rings all day. New customers walk in every shift. There is always laundry to wash, dry, fold, and put away.

If you like to stay moving, help people nonstop, and take pride in doing things right, you will love this job. If you want a cush, low-effort role, you will hate it.

What You’ll Do

Greet every customer and make them feel welcome (in English and Spanish)
Answer phones and help customers with questions throughout your shift
Help first-time guests use our high-tech machines and payment system
Wash, dry, and fold customer laundry following our exact process
Keep the store spotless: floors, folding tables, bathrooms, machines
Protect our 5-star reputation by solving problems with a positive attitude

You’ll be on your feet and moving for most of your 6-hour shift.

This job IS for you if:

Pay, Tips, and Growth

Start at $15.00/hr as Tier 0 – Store Support (Trainee). Bilingual, helps clean, fold, and do basic Wash-Dry-Fold tasks, and supports CSAs. No POS, no cash handling, no opening/closing, and no tip share at this level.
Tier 1 – CSA I (Full CSA): $16.50/hr + tips. In uniform, runs POS and cash, handles WDF intake, can open and close the store, and is able to run the store solo on normal shifts. Eligible for Wash-Dry-Fold tips.
Tier 2 – CSA II (Senior CSA): $18.00/hr + tips. Strong customer service in both languages. Can juggle front-of-house, phones, WDF, and cleaning. Helps train Store Support and CSA I team members.
Tier 3 – CSA Lead: $19.00/hr + tips. Go-to person on busy shifts. Handles escalated customer issues, supports training, and helps keep the floor running smoothly.
As we grow, there will be an opportunity for the right person to move into an Assistant Store Manager role.
Raises and promotions are based on reliability, customer service, and laundry quality (not just time in the job). Top performers can move up the ladder quickly.
Weekly pay every Friday.
Paid time off for full-time employees.
Free laundry for your own clothes.

Schedule

Current opening: Full-time, 5 days.
Must be available for a rotating mix of morning and evening shifts, including weekends.

Requirements

Bilingual English & Spanish (required)
Previous customer-facing experience
Able to stand and move for an entire 5-hour shift
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and calm under pressure
Military experience is a plus
