Full Job Description

General Manager — Manufacturing Operations

About the Role

This leadership role is responsible for driving the performance of a multi-department manufacturing operation. The General Manager oversees sheet metal fabrication, paint, and contract manufacturing while ensuring production efficiency, on-time delivery, and alignment with business objectives.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead and coordinate all production activities across fabrication, and contract manufacturing.

Partner with Engineering, Materials, and Production Control to meet operational targets.

Ensure customer orders are delivered on schedule and commitments are met.

Maintain strong communication across departments to support production flow and schedule adjustments.

Manage and prioritize urgent or expedited orders.

Oversee capital investment planning and execution.

What You Bring

Experience leading operations in a complex manufacturing environment.

Fabrication, bending, laser, welding and powder.

Background in metal fabrication, including stainless steel and aluminum.

Ability to lead large teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of low-volume, high-mix manufacturing operations.

Expertise in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).

7–10 years of relevant experience, including senior-level management.

Semiconductor industry experience is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.

Work Conditions

This position operates in a manufacturing environment with:

Frequent exposure to machinery and noise

Occasional exposure to environmental factors such as humidity, heights, and outdoor conditions

Physical activity including standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly)
