Full Job Description

Data Center Material Handler | Pflugerville, TX

Join a global leader in logistics and data center operations! Nexeo Staffing is hiring Data Center Material Handlers to support a high-tech data center near Pflugerville, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience handling computer hardware, IT component assembly, or electronics manufacturing who want to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You’ll work alongside skilled team members in a cutting-edge facility focused on server builds, electronic hardware installation, quality control, and inventory management. If you have strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work in a team setting, this role is for you. Apply now!

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound/outbound freight and manage shipping documents.

Perform quality checks on materials for accuracy and condition.

Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders.

Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.

Place server racks on the data center floor using laser measuring devices.

Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks per diagrams.

Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools.

Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, pallet jacks).

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards (5S).

Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend throughout the workday.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in data center operations, IT hardware assembly, electronics production, inventory control, or similar.

Must pass a national background check and drug screening.

Strong computer skills or technical aptitude.

Hands-on experience with computer/server assembly preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

Familiarity with Inventory Management software, RF scanners, WMS systems.

CompTIA A+ or similar certifications a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical diagrams.

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift.

Reliable transportation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed.
