Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team on Lake Travis. Your office will be on the water, and your members will be delighted to see you! The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in increasing sales, providing exceptional customer service, effectively managing and developing employees, and controlling costs. This position offers the potential for future opportunities in location management and franchise ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the boat club, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility maintenance
Oversee boat rentals and ensure they are conducted safely and efficiently
Train new employees on club policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Coordinate special events and promotions to attract new members and enhance member experiences
Handle member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and improvement
Prepare regular reports on sales, membership trends, and operational performance for management review
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to inform decision-making and maintain compliance

Qualifications:

Passion for boating and water sports, knowledge of boating equipment, safety procedures, and regulations is preferred
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality, recreational, or customer service industry
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with members, employees, and management
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the boat club
Bachelor's Degree
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year (depending on experience), comprised of base salary (approximately 75%) and commission (approximately 25%).
