Full Job Description

Ramen Tatsu-Ya is hiring for Front of House staff members! This is a tipped position plus the hourly wage.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
Distributes menus and presents any daily specials
Answers questions regarding the menu
Receives food & beverage orders for accurate communication to the kitchen via Toast
Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
Buss tables
Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing tableware and condiments
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be 18+ years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya location
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
Toast knowledge is preferred but not required

Experience:

Previous experience as a server preferred
Must successfully complete state required certifications

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
