Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our dynamic retail team! In this role, you will be the face of our store, delivering exceptional customer service while guiding shoppers through their purchasing journey. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will help customers find exactly what they need, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits
Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure showroom floor is organized
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or vendors

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or specialty stores
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff
Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively
Knowledge of furniture or mattress store operations and retail sales transactions is highly desirable
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
