Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong bookkeeping skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency in various office management tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Duties

Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Utilize Yardi and RealPage for tracking financial transactions and generating reports
Provide front desk support, including answering multi-line phone systems and greeting clients professionally
Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents
Offer customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading documents, and managing calendars
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and administrative functions
Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various tasks including document creation and data management

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or related fields is preferred
Familiarity with Yardi or RealPage is highly desirable
Previous office experience, including clerical roles or customer service positions, is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
