Full Job Description

Bistro Du Midi is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Beverage Manager. This individual will work closely with the General Manager & Beverage Director to maintain excellence in all aspects of the beverage program, specifically running the daily operations for our award-winning wine program. They will supervise daily beverage operations as well as floor management operations to HHG standards, provide guidance and recommendations to both our staff and guests to create an exceptional dining experience. They will also participate in staff training, wine list maintenance, and proper inventory of the wine collection.

Essential Job Duties:
- Oversee Wine Program which boasts Wine Spectator “Best Of” Award and over 600 selections
- Execute and maintain quality of beverage program, enhancing current wine and cocktail lists
- Provide beverage training with particular emphasis on sales, service, and product knowledge
- Ordering, receiving, inventory, organizing, and selling wine for the restaurants
- Implement and follow steps of service

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding hospitality. As a hands-on member of the Management team, this person will ensure all aspects of the restaurant are running smoothly and efficiently to deliver genuine hospitality.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years beverage management experience in fine dining environment
- Strong understanding of wine, regions, and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers or other relevant certifications
