Lead Concierge – Job Description
The Lead Concierge is a front-line service leader responsible for supporting daily concierge operations, maintaining a polished and secure residential environment, and helping ensure consistent service excellence for residents, guests, visitors, and team members. This role requires strong communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in a high-rise residential community.
Reports to: Assistant Property Manager

Success Profile: The ideal Lead Concierge is calm under pressure, highly dependable, service-driven, and professional in both appearance and communication. This individual leads by example, supports team consistency, reinforces front desk standards, and helps maintain resident confidence through sound judgment, discretion, and reliable follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Resident, Guest, and Visitor Services

Deliver professional, attentive, and solutions-oriented service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors.
Warmly greet, announce, and direct individuals entering or exiting the property while maintaining a welcoming front desk presence.
Respond to residents and guest inquiries accurately and courteously, including questions related to amenities, services, community events, and property offerings.
Address routine residents or guest concerns promptly and professionally; escalate unresolved complaints or dissatisfaction to management in accordance with Front Desk protocol.
Serve as a liaison between residents, guests, and internal departments such as maintenance and housekeeping to support seamless service delivery.

Front Desk Operations

Maintain a strong and visible presence at the Front Desk during assigned shifts.
Process incoming and outgoing packages, maintain accurate package logs, and conduct routine package audits to ensure timely and reliable delivery handling.
Coordinate concierge services, including dry cleaning and other approved resident services.
Manage daily communications, including phone calls, emails, records, logs, and other administrative duties related to Front Desk operations.
Maintain accurate resident information, records, and documentation in BuildingLink and other approved systems.

Security, Safety, and Emergency Support

Monitor and announce visitors; control and restrict property access in accordance with building policies and procedures.
Review surveillance and access control systems regularly and report suspicious activity according to Front Desk protocol.
Follow established safety procedures and contribute to a safe, secure, and orderly residential environment.
Complete audits, incident reports, emergency response procedures, and other required documentation accurately and timely.

Team Leadership and Training Support

Lead by example by modeling Premier Communities’ standards for professionalism, service excellence, confidentiality, and resident care.
Provide guidance and support to concierge team members and help foster a positive, productive, and accountable work environment.
Support training for new team members as the secondary training lead, under the direction of the Assistant Property Manager as primary trainer.
Help reinforce Front Desk procedures, service expectations, and operational consistency across shifts.

Administration and Other Duties

Assist with marketing materials, community event planning, and other property initiatives as directed by management.
Always maintain a professional appearance and polished demeanor.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Prior experience in concierge, front desk, hospitality, guest services, residential services, or a related customer-facing role.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining professional, organized, and attentive to detail.
Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive or high-pressure situations.
Comfort using standard office applications, email platforms, logs, records, and property-related systems.
Ability to follow established procedures, respond appropriately to emergencies, and escalate concerns when needed.
Demonstrated ability to support team members, reinforce service standards, and contribute to a positive front desk environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a luxury, high-rise, condominium, apartment, hospitality, or upscale residential setting.
Familiarity with BuildingLink or similar property management software.
