Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and construction management, with the ability to effectively coordinate resources, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.

Duties

Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate project bids.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to design electrical systems that meet project specifications.
Review blueprints and technical drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
Utilize Primavera for project scheduling and management.
Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Prepare progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
Implement system design strategies that optimize efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical project management or a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, construction estimating, and contract management.
Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
