Kickstart your machining career in Hauppauge, NY as a Class C CNC Machinist, offering $20 – $25/hour alongside a highly desirable 9/80 work schedule (enjoy every other Friday off!). Under the mentorship of senior machinists, you will safely load and operate CNC mills and lathes, assist with basic machine setups, and utilize precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure high-quality parts meet blueprint specifications. Perfect for individuals with 0 to 3 years of hands-on CNC experience (or a technical/vocational background) who possess attention to detail and a desire to grow, this junior-level role comes with an exceptional benefits package—including comprehensive medical, a 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement. Responsibilities

Safely load raw materials, run production cycles, and unload finished parts on CNC mills and lathes according to established parameters.
Assist senior machinists with or perform basic machine setups, including changing out production fixtures and tooling under direct supervision.
Measure and inspect finished components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure complete accuracy against blueprint specifications.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery and keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Monitor machine performance closely and immediately report malfunctions or out-of-tolerance parts to senior staff.
