Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Front Medical Office Administrator / Medical Records Coordinator to support the daily operations of a busy healthcare office. The ideal candidate will have current front medical office and medical records experience, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a long-term assignment requiring strong computer proficiency and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients while providing outstanding customer service.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Enter and retrieve patient information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, faxing, and document management.
Assist with correspondence and office communication using Microsoft Office applications.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies regarding patient information.

Required Qualifications

Current experience in a Front Medical Office or Medical Reception role.
Current experience managing medical records.
Strong administrative and front office experience in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly preferred.
Excellent computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Reliable, professional, and interested in a long-term assignment.

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
