Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen — ensuring every ingredient is prepped to order, every sauce is fresh, and every station is set up for success. If you take pride in your craft and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and portion proteins including marinated meats, seafood, and chicken per recipe specifications

- Wash, peel, chop, dice, and slice vegetables and produce to mise en place standards

- Prepare fresh salsas, guacamole, sauces, and marinades from scratch daily

- Cook and portion beans, rice, and other staple components ahead of service

- Set up and break down prep and line stations according to kitchen standards

- Accurately label, date, and store all prepared ingredients following FIFO rotation

- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times

- Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures and cold-holding practices

- Communicate proactively with the Chef regarding inventory needs

- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment

- Solid knife skills and proficiency with standard kitchen equipment

- Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

- Must have TIN or SSN card, or other forms of work authorization

PREFERRED
- Experience in a Mexican or Latin cuisine kitchen

- Bilingual in English and Spanish
