General Manager of Office Administration

Company: Northeast Windows USA
Location: Merrick, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Northeast Windows USA is a 4th generation family-owned & operated vinyl window manufacturer. We were established in 1947 and proudly based in Merrick, NY. We manufacture and supply vinyl windows and patio doors through a vast network ranging from wholesale, distribution, dealers, and contractors throughout the Northeast region. We are honored to be ranked as a Top 100 Domestic Window Manufacturer by Window & Door Magazine.

In addition to windows and doors, we also manufacture vinyl fencing and railings.

All logistics are managed through our own fleet, allowing us complete control over service, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, proactive General Manager of Office Administration to oversee and support the day-to-day administrative operations of the company. This position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between customer service, production, logistics, and internal systems. Candidate is expected to eventually be relied upon & trusted to make their own decisions regardless of financial implications.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and assist with daily office administration and operations
Perform data entry, filing, and document management
Support customer service functions, including order entry and product support
Assist with logistics scheduling and coordination of deliveries
Oversee invoicing, filing, office organization, and other day-to-day operational tasks
Work closely with management to improve administrative processes and efficiency
Assist with front desk over the counter responsibilities, including assisting customers, answering a multi-line phone system, and delivering professional customer service
Oversee and assist with releasing of orders into factory for manufacturing
Assist with accounts receivable functions and coordination of COD deliveries
Provide ERP system support to customers and internal staff

Qualifications

Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills
Experience in manufacturing or construction is a plus
Bi-lingual (Spanish) is required
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience
