Full Job Description

Physical Therapist – Full-Time

Clawson, Michigan.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical

Therapist to join our growing clinic on a full-time basis. You will act

as a partner and advocate for patients throughout their rehabilitation

journey—from initial diagnosis to full recovery. The ideal candidate

is self-motivated, committed to clinical excellence, and eager to

continue building both their caseload and professional skills in a

supportive, patient-centered environment.

About Us

We are a small but expanding clinic located in Clawson,

Michigan, dedicated to providing high-quality, one-on-one patient

care. Every session is a 60-minute individual appointment, allowing

us to focus entirely on each patient's needs.

Our primary focus is orthopedics, with additional services in

Parkinson’s care and performance training. We operate under a

hybrid model of insurance and cash-based services, offering

flexibility for both patients and providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Meet with patients to assess needs, evaluate conditions, and

establish individualized treatment goals.

 Devise and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored

to patient goals.

 Use clinical judgment to make on-the-spot adjustments to

treatment plans to ensure safety and maximize progress.

 Motivate and encourage patients through each stage of the

rehabilitation process.

 Educate patients in detailed exercise techniques, stretches, and

self-care programs to be completed between sessions.

 Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment strategies

as needed.

 Maintain accurate and timely records of patient sessions and

outcomes.

 Communicate and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure

comprehensive and consistent care.

 Stay up to date and compliant with all federal and state physical

therapy regulations.

 Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

 5+ years of experience preferred; new graduates will be

considered

 Proven commitment to patient care and rehabilitation outcomes

 Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with a

wide variety of patients

 Strong verbal and written communication skills

 High level of professionalism, reliability, and personal ethics

 Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an

accredited program

 OMPT certification preferred

 Certifications in Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

preferred

 Current valid physical therapy license in the state of Michigan

 CPR certification required

 Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and

standards
