Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food service operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen management, menu development, and food quality assurance. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure an outstanding dining experience for our guests. As an energetic leader, you will inspire your team to deliver innovative dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and operational efficiency. This is a new restaurant, an opportunity to create your name, with large potential for growth.

Duties

Develop and execute creative, high-quality menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
Lead, train, and motivate culinary staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management
Oversee food safety compliance by implementing rigorous sanitation procedures and ensuring adherence to health regulations
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling staff and optimizing workflow during busy periods

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in restaurant management and food service operations
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food production, food handling, and cooking techniques
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of dietary department standards and experience managing dietary requirements for diverse clientele
Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, and menu planning to maximize profitability
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, training, and development
Familiarity with catering services, banquet operations, and event coordination
Commitment to food safety standards and best practices in the food industry
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
MUST KNOW cogs, labor and prime cost management. Must keep food cost targets and manage margins daily
