Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely collections and accurate account reconciliations.

Duties

Process and record accounts receivable transactions.
Manage customer accounts, including billing inquiries, payment processing, and account reconciliations.
Conduct analysis of accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments or billing.
Collaborate with the collections team to manage medical collections and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Qualifications

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail; 10 key typing proficiency is essential.
Effective negotiation skills for managing collections while maintaining customer relationships.
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are required for effective communication with clients.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
