Starting Wage DOE: $27.69 - $34.61
Under minimal supervision, position coordinates, develops and designs graphics and printed materials such as brochures, mailers, flyers, educational sheets, newsletters, health information sheets, billboards, web & digital advertising, print advertisements, maps, signs, and premiums. Position provides video production and photography. Position ensures compliance with corporate identity, brand standards/guidelines. Position works as a liaison with service-line leadership to provide marketing support to meet department goals. Position coordinates placement of traditional and digital media
Essential Job Functions
- Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
- Develops, designs original artwork and/or does creative execution for marketing projects based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts and in accordance with brand identity standards. Coordinates select advertising development with advertising agency. Responsible for all phases of project management from conceptual ideas to coordination of the final product including vendor bidding and contracting.
- Completes wide variety of graphic design (including digital ads) projects for marketing team members and internal customers as directed by marketing strategy and support for organizational initiatives. Provides consultative support to marketing team members regarding graphic standards.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with printers, photographers and progressive vendors for new media opportunities. Obtains estimates of time schedule, costs and approves and authorizes expenditures. Maintains records for cost effectiveness and quantity printed. Is fiscally responsible for budget estimates and maintaining costs within the agreed upon budget parameters.
- Works as a liaison with service-line leadership to develop effective marketing materials and media strategies. Places print advertising and social media supporting execution of marketing strategy and communications. Ensures competitive and lowest rates are negotiated when applicable. Coordinates and ensures timelines for placement are met.
- Designs wide variety of banners, posters, signage and other media supporting internal and external brand image and strategy for Billings Clinic.
- Video tapes, edits and produces videos for web, TV and digital use.
- Leads photo shoots with professional photographers as well as takes photos for marketing and internal needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in graphic arts, communications, marketing, journalism or other related field
Experience
- Three (3) years’ experience in design, graphics, print and video production, with thorough knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts required. Knowledge of web-based design.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
