Job Title: Active Sales Manager (Residential Fiber)

JOB SUMMARY

GigabitNow is expanding our hyper-fast Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) internet footprint across Bloomington, Columbus, and Shelbyville, Indiana. We are looking for a hands-on, competitive Active Sales Manager to lead our field sales efforts from the front.

In this role, you won't just manage from behind a desk—you will actively sell alongside your team in the field every day, lead Brand Ambassadors at high-yield community events, and relentlessly drive target neighborhood quotas. If you are a high-energy sales leader who knows how to coach door-to-door, close direct consumer deals, and beat legacy cable competitors, we want to talk to you.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Active Field Leadership & Sales Execution

- Lead from the Front: Spend significant time in the field daily, actively selling alongside sales reps, demonstrating proper closing techniques, and taking direct responsibility for team quota delivery.

- Field Coaching & Development: Continuously train and onboard field sales representatives on direct consumer outreach, consultative closing, and handling competitor objections.

- Manage Quotas & Funnels: Track daily, weekly, and monthly individual and team sales metrics. Enforce performance accountability, manage pipelines, and execute incentive plans to ensure sales targets are consistently exceeded.

2. Event Sales & Brand Ambassador Management

- Event Revenue Generation: Manage GigabitNow’s local event schedule, leading event sales operations at HOA meetings, neighborhood block parties, farmers markets, and local festivals.

- Brand Ambassador Leadership: Direct and oversee Brand Ambassadors at community events, turning event foot traffic into qualified leads and direct sales sign-ups.

- Competitive Conquesting: Keep your sales team equipped with up-to-date competitive positioning to actively win over legacy cable and satellite customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Sales Management: 3+ years of experience leading, scaling, and managing quotas for direct-to-consumer field sales or door-to-door teams.

- Proven Closing Ability: Demonstrated history of personal success in direct sales and hands-on, field-level team coaching.

- Telecom Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential broadband or home utility sales, with the ability to clearly position fiber against legacy cable.

- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record to operate a company-provided branded vehicle for field travel and event setup.

- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work field-heavy hours alongside your team during peak consumer availability, including required evenings and weekends for neighborhood campaigns and events.

- Event Conversion Rates: Direct sales volume and lead conversion generated through Brand Ambassador event activations.

- Neighborhood Take-Rate: Percentage of homes passed converted into active subscribers.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
