About the Role
Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and health insurance industry, is seeking a Talent Coordinator to support its talent acquisition efforts. This role plays a vital part in delivering a seamless hiring experience by coordinating recruiting activities, managing pre-employment processes, and serving as a key connection between candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, and onboarding teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive candidate experience while supporting a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment function.

Job Description
The Talent Coordinator supports talent acquisition and attraction initiatives by providing administrative and operational support throughout the hiring process. This role is responsible for creating a professional, white-glove experience for candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders while ensuring recruiting and onboarding activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities

Provide a positive and seamless experience for candidates, new hires, hiring managers, and internal teams throughout the recruitment process.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure an efficient interview experience.
Manage pre-employment activities, including:
- Initiating and monitoring background check processes.
- Coordinating drug screening requirements.
- Processing new hires within the applicant tracking system (Workday).
- Initiating and tracking I-9 verification activities.
- Partnering with HR Operations to confirm completion of new hire documentation.
Serve as a liaison between talent acquisition and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain candidate, applicant, and hiring manager communications.
Organize and maintain recruiting documentation, resources, and team records.
Support recruiting and talent acquisition projects as assigned.
Perform additional duties consistent with the scope and level of the position.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) or more years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience; or a bachelor's degree in lieu of experience.
Experience supporting recruiting activities such as interview scheduling, candidate coordination, background checks, onboarding, or HR administration.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information with professionalism.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide a high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior Talent Acquisition Coordinator experience.
Experience using Workday or a similar applicant tracking system (ATS).
Knowledge of labor markets, talent pipelining, and candidate sourcing strategies.
Ability to analyze information, identify routine challenges, and collaborate on solutions.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences and foster effective team collaboration.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and urgency.
Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
