Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. We are specifically looking for someone to fill shifts during the week (Monday-Friday) for lunch and or dinner--your typical shift will be 10:00am-4:00pm or 4pm-9:30pm

As a Host, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This is a great opportunity to work in the food service industry and be part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

- Seat guests and manage the flow of the dining area

- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations

- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and restrooms

- Assist servers with various tasks as needed

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Strong guest relations and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably TOAST POS or similar software

- Ability to work well within a team

***Must have the ability to stand for up to 4+ hours per shift, occasionally lift up to 25lbs, and walk up and down stairs between dining rooms

***Pay based on experience and performance.

***Position is paid a base hourly rate + tips.

***All new hires must satisfactory complete a 90 day probationary period where they will then be offered a permanent position.
