Full Job Description

Maverick Hospitality, the group behind Boston area favorites such as Lucy’s American Tavern, Chubbs, The Bowery Bar & Sam Walkers American Tavern, are now hiring restaurant managers for Layla’s American Tavern.

Layla’s is a full-service restaurant committed to providing the absolute best guest experience with a true passion for hospitality and service. We are a modern neighborhood tavern with a focus on elevated comfort food and American cuisine. Our beverage program consists of a scratch cocktail program, 20 draft lines featuring local craft beer and a carefully curated wine list. We offer our guests lunch, brunch and dinner seven days a week.

Layla’s American Tavern, along with Maverick Hospitality, aim to offer industry-leading benefits with paid time off, flexible hours, employee meals, health & dental insurance.

We are looking for Restaurant Managers to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent guest service. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards. Most importantly you will be an integral part of our amazing management team who have dedicated themselves to a positive work culture and to exceeding our guests’ expectations on every visit.

SKILLS

1 year minimum in a restaurant management role preferred.
Should be fluent in Craft beer, spirits, and cocktails as well as solid wine
knowledge.
Must be passionate, self-driven, a great coach and leader,
Must be organized, detail oriented and structured.
