Educational Coordinator / Math & Science Teacher (Grades 9–12)

Organization: Total Performance Soccer: Center of Excellence (COE) – Foxboro Campus

Position Type: Full-Time / On-Site

Overview

The Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Educational Coordinator and Math & Science Teacher to lead the academic experience at our Foxboro Campus. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for coordinating and delivering the day-to-day academic experience for approximately 30 elite academy student-athletes within the U-16 and U-18 age groups.

This position sits at the intersection of elite athletics and rigorous academics. The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven educator who thrives in a flexible, high-performance environment and is passionate about supporting student-athletes in reaching their full potential on and off the field.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-site academic point of contact for student-athletes and families, working in close collaboration with the on-site Academic Liaison on all program coordination
Deliver direct instruction and on-demand tutoring in high school mathematics and science (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and related courses)
Coordinate the overall academic experience for enrolled student-athletes, including scheduling, pacing, progress monitoring, and individualized support
Align academic programming with the daily training schedule and student needs in collaboration with the on-site Academic Liaison
Collaborate remotely with the COE Head of School and operate under the academic leadership and supervision of COE administration
Facilitate small group academic support sessions and guided independent work blocks
Support executive functioning development including time management, organization, and self-directed learning skills
Assist with college counseling and postsecondary planning including NCAA eligibility guidance, transcript monitoring, and college communication support
Maintain accurate student records, session notes, and progress updates and communicate regularly with COE academic leadership
Foster a positive, relationship-based academic environment consistent with COE's mission and values

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Experience teaching or tutoring high school math and/or science
Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple student needs simultaneously
Ability to work independently in a non-traditional academic environment with a flexible daily structure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital tools used in secondary education
Experience working with student-athletes or in a sports-adjacent academic environment is a plus
Commitment to the COE mission of developing world-class people both on and off the field

Schedule & Compensation

- Full-time, on-site at the COE Foxboro Campus

- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM | Friday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
