With a growing presence in both wholesale and retail markets, the company operates a roastery, a newly renovated retail store, a boutique wine room, and a full-service café at its corporate headquarters — where quality, consistency, hospitality, and inclusivity are of paramount importance.

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled barista with a passion for specialty coffee. The ideal candidate has experience in brewing techniques, understands the nuances of coffee flavors, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality espresso-based beverages, manual brews, and other café offerings while providing an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee Craftsmanship

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks with consistency.
Master various brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, French press, AeroPress, etc.).
Dial in espresso daily and adjust brewing parameters to maintain quality.
Steam milk to create proper texture for lattes, cappuccinos, and latte art.

Customer Service & Hospitality

Greet and engage customers warmly, ensuring an inviting café experience.
Educate customers about coffee origins, tasting notes, and brew methods.
Handle customer inquiries and recommend drinks based on preferences.

Operations & Maintenance

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and bar area.
Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring food and beverage handling compliance.
Assist with inventory management, restocking, and quality control.
Perform opening and closing duties as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a specialty coffee shop or café preferred.
Knowledge of coffee extraction, espresso dialing, and milk texturing.
Passion for coffee, willingness to learn, and a desire to perfect the craft.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
