Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies and reporting shortages as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques.
Ability to handle food safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
