Full Job Description

Beachside Hospitality Group II is looking for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. We are committed to the highest standards of quality and presentation with a “guest first” focus. The ideal candidate is focused on overseeing kitchen operations, implementing innovative menus, ensuring the highest quality of food and customer satisfaction. Exceptional culinary expertise, leadership skills, and creative flair are instrumental in this position to support the restaurant's success and reputation.

Responsibilities:

Participating in a team environment by demonstrating genuine hospitality and team skills
Possessing the knowledge and ability to ensure timely and creative execution of all food menus/recipes – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
Managing all elements of BOH including purchasing/inventory, budgeting, menu creation, hiring and scheduling talent, and execution
Delivering an exceptional guest experience by consistently preparing high quality menu items and creativity
Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and sanitation in the kitchen
Thriving in a high-volume environment

Essentials:

You must have 3-5 years of experience as a head/executive chef of high volume culinary/hospitality experience
Professionally trained at a Culinary Institute or Undergraduate level program
Demonstrated BOH financial and management experience
You have strong analytical and communication/presentation skills
You have a high school diploma or GED
You have a current food handler manager’s card
Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business
Willing to work on nights and weekends as required by our scheduling

Physical requirements:

Lift and/or move up to approximately 40 pounds frequently
Bending/stooping/kneeling required
Routine standing for duration of shift
Handling the following types of equipment or machinery: hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys and other kitchen tools
Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
