Full Job Description

We are looking for a machinist to join our unique and growing CNC machine shop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a growth-minded machinist who wants to be part of a forward-thinking, small-run manufacturing environment where craftsmanship, problem-solving, and collaboration matter. We are looking for someone who enjoys tackling a variety of machining challenges and wants to contribute to a shop that values innovation, flexibility, and continuous improvement.

We want to add someone to our team who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and is excited to share ideas that help improve processes, quality, efficiency, and overall shop performance. This position is ideal for a machinist who enjoys both prototyping and production work and is comfortable working in a setting where no two days are exactly the same.

In this role, you can expect to:

Perform primary machining work on mills, with some involvement in lathe operations
Support prototype development and help solve unique machining challenges
Contribute to production efficiency by helping meet quality, timing, and output goals
Assist with additive manufacturing and certain assembly-related functions as needed
Collaborate with a small team while also working independently with confidence and accountability
Offer ideas for process improvements, workflow efficiency, and shop organization
Help support a culture of teamwork, adaptability, and continuous growth

We are looking for someone who:

Has machining experience and a solid understanding of CNC shop practices
Enjoys a hands-on role in a smaller manufacturing environment
Is comfortable balancing teamwork with self-direction and independence
Has a positive, solution-oriented mindset
Takes ownership of their work and maintains a strong attention to detail
Is interested in growing with a company that is expanding its capabilities
Brings Mastercam programming ability, which would be a significant advantage

Current equipment in our shop includes:

Haas VF5 SS
Haas ST35
Mazak QT250MSY
