Company Overview

Simply Clean Laundry is committed to simplifying our customers' lives by providing top-notch laundry services to both commercial and residential clients in the St. Louis area. Our laundry pickup and delivery services reflect our dedication to exceptional service. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a versatile, proactive, and dependable Office Administrator to play a pivotal role in our growing business.

Responsibilities

Route Coordination: Create manifests and routes for drivers to ensure smooth, timely service. Organizing bags for routes.
Data Management: Perform accurate data entry into spreadsheets and software.
Financial Transactions: Generate invoices and process payments using QuickBooks and our laundry delivery software.
General Office Support: Assist with office tasks such as updating credit cards, running reports, and maintaining daily operations.
Customer Engagement: Respond to phone calls and emails with excellent service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Team Support: Provide backup support when needed, including light laundry folding, occasional deliveries, and other duties.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, quick to learn new systems, and comfortable with technology. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, communicates clearly with both customers and team members, and can pivot quickly when priorities change. In the past, we’ve found success with candidates who were balancing school or other commitments and valued flexible, meaningful work in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

Private office space within a dedicated building
Relaxed dress code
Convenient Overland location (near Page and Ashby)

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $20.00/hour with opportunities for regular raises.
Two weeks paid vacation (accrual begins after 60 days)
4 paid holidays
Holiday bonus
Tip bonus paid out quarterly
Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit (every other Friday)

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (Some flexibility with start time)
Approximately 24 hours per week (with some flexibility for the right candidate)
Hours may increase slightly when owners are out of town

Requirements

Comfortable using software and apps (Google Docs, QuickBooks Online, etc. — training provided)
Previous administrative experience is a plus
Strong customer service skills
Abilityi to lift bags up to 30 pounds
Dependable, organized, and efficient
Willingness to go above and beyond when necessary
Reliable transportation
