Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist primarily for our Merritt Island location, however, you will need to be able to travel to our other locations in Titusville and Viera if needed.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility

- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments

- Maintain patient records and update personal information as needed

- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, and scanning documents

- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

- General computer knowledge

- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. EMA experience a plus.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment

Note: We have 3 locations, Viera, Merritt Island, Titusville - employee needs to be able to

travel to any location.

Customer Service is our top priority.

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED required

1+ years’ experience working in a medical office
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
