Operations/ Office Manager

Location: Cape Cod, MAJob Type: Full-Time

Join Our Growing Team

We are a well-established, locally owned electrical contracting company on Cape Cod seeking a motivated and organized Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and helping a growing business succeed.

The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office
Answer customer calls and provide exceptional customer service
Schedule service calls and coordinate technician calendars
Prepare customer estimates and proposals
Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using QuickBooks
Maintain customer files and project documentation
Coordinate with field staff to ensure projects run efficiently
Order materials and communicate with suppliers
Assist with bookkeeping and general office administration
Develop and improve office systems and workflows
Provide operational support to ownership and contribute to the continued growth of the business

Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks is required
Previous office management or operations management experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience in the electrical, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or skilled trades industry is strongly preferred
Estimating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
