About Us

We are a busy, well-established multispecialty medical practice dedicated to providing excellent patient care and outstanding customer service. We are looking for an experienced bilingual (English/Russian) professional to join our team and help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Position Overview

As a Medical Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our practice by assisting patients, coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and working closely with providers and clinical staff. We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
Check patients in and out
Verify medical insurance eligibility and benefits
Obtain prior authorizations
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR
Coordinate with providers, medical assistants, and other team members
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referral sources
Assist with additional duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Fluent in both English and Russian
Previous experience working in a medical office
Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations
Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) system
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience handling a multi-line phone system
Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Professional, positive, and respectful attitude
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced medical practice

Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification
Experience in a multispecialty medical practice
Experience with Physical Therapy, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, or Primary Care
Experience with CyberMed is a plus (training provided)
