Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. This is a hybrid position where sales are also integrated. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help foster positive relationships, resolve inquiries efficiently, and contribute to a welcoming customer experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an award winning insurance agency deeply rooted in the community.

Duties

Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring each customer feels valued and heard
Service insurance policies and provide customers with coverage summaries
Assist clients with filing claims
Manage client inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information and timely solutions
Utilize productivity software such as Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and Word processing tools to document interactions and update client records
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining organized records of customer interactions and transactions
Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, managing appointments, accepting payments and supporting office management activities
Maintain excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous insurance experience and PA property/casualty license preferred
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry tasks
Experience with customer service roles that involve direct client communication via phone or in person
Knowledge of office management practices including calendar management and personal assistant tasks is advantageous
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and technical proficiency in productivity software will help you excel in this role
Demonstrated organizational skills along with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently
