BRAKES TO GO is currently seeking a dependable customer-oriented professional to serve as our part time Automotive Service Writer & Coordinator. We will need you to work 7:30AM to 4:30PM with a one hour lunch on Saturday and Sunday. The position is responsible for preliminary customer brake diagnosis(we will teach you) over the phone AND securing, coordinating, and scheduling customer appointments for mobile brake service. Our Service Writer/Coordinator employees are the central nervous system of our organization and enjoy a high degree of responsibility and independence. The demand for our brake service never slows down, so the ability to work in a fast-paced setting is crucial.

Essential Duties & Primary Responsibilities:

Manages a high-volume of customer telephone calls and email submissions requesting brake diagnosis and repair.
Answers customer phone calls with enthusiasm, a smile in your voice, and the highest level of respect.
Ascertains likely brake system problems by listening to customer description of symptoms.
Calculates and produces estimates for various levels of brake service and repair.
Schedules customer appointments and coordinates company service technician schedules.
Uses our automated system to order parts and push quotes and customer orders to company service technicians.
Maintains customer rapport by explaining our unique mobile service; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Maintains a positive attitude, positive communications, and a strong team atmosphere.

Education & Experience:
Experience in customer service and service sales. Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and possibly automotive store applications. Supervisory or management experience helpful, but not required. High school diploma required. Associates degree or undergraduate degree helpful, but not required.

Employment Hours & Pay:
BRAKES TO GO is open from 700 AM to 630 AM. Wee need one Service Writer to work on Saturday and Sunday. From the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30PM w/ a one hour lunch. On average, this translates to 24-30 working hours per week. Starting training pay is $15/hour paid bi-weekly. Permanent pay rate is $21/hour, which equals approximately $18-20k in annual compensation for this position. This employee has paid holidays beginning immediately.
