Accounts Payable- Auto Dealership Experience (ONLY)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable candidate with experience working at a HIGH VOLUME,fast paced, multi-line car dealership with an accounting background. Candidates must be motivated, a self-starter, organized,detail oriented, fast-paced, and comfortable working with upper management. We are seeking a candidate who has impeccable customer service skills (email,phone, as well as in-person), with good time management skills as well as a great attitude and attendance. Professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing all incoming invoices and ensuring that they are coded to the correct GL account including obtaining proper approvals
Ensuring that invoices are reconciled and paid in a timely manner
Accurately researching, resolving, and communicating any issues in a timely manner
Checking mathematical accuracy of supporting documents
Maintains an orderly accounting system
Maintain vendor files
Run A/P aging, check register and other required reports
Maintain current 1099 history on required vendors and complete 1099 filings at year-end.
Completing check runs for all vendors
Verifying and maintaining tax exemption and resale certificates
Tracking expenses
Preparing expense analysis reports
Accounts receivable duties include sending monthly statements, copies of unpaid invoices, collections

Requirements included but not limited to):

Must have Automotive Business Office Experience

(ONLY AUTOMOBILE EXPERIENCED NEED APPLY)

REYNOLDS & REYNOLDS EXPERIENCE A PLUS!

Excellent math skills
Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
