Eagan Pet Clinic (EPC) has an opening for a fulltime Veterinary Receptionist in our very busy five doctor small animal practice. Here, we love our jobs, our clients, our patients, and each other. Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, genuine, and reliable person who is able to maintain professionalism during stressful situations. Open, honest, and approachable people are encouraged to apply, as we operate with open dialogue between all positions. We are open Mon-Fri 8a-6p. All fulltime staff are scheduled four days a week from 8a-6p with the same day off every week - this position is expected to have Tuesdays off. One hour lunch breaks are guaranteed.

Fulltime employees earn 2 Weeks Paid Time Off in your first year then earn 3 Weeks Paid Time Off starting in your second year - PLUS separate Holiday Pay and CE Pay!

Duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling appointments; operating multi-line phone system; customer service via telephone, email, text, and in person; processing payments; updating patient medical records; filling prescriptions; educating clients; and more.

Skills / Experience:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is required
Critical thinking skills and multi-tasking ability required
Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks required
A love of animals and people required
Above average verbal and written communication skills required
Previous experience using a multi-line phone system is preferred
Previous experience in a 3+ doctor veterinary practice is preferred

This is an extremely fast paced position and requires employees to be constantly moving, standing, walking, bending, talking, listening, typing, and lifting up to 40 pounds (dog food).
