Full Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant reports to the CFO to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting functions and operating procedures. General responsibilities include oversight of billing and cash flow, monitoring vendor payments, month-end reconciliations and closings, reviewing monthly expenses and budgets, general finance, and promoting best practices and team collaboration with a positive proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

-Monitoring AP function and GL expense posting

-Collecting and consolidating financial data

-Customer onboarding and relationship management

-Reviewing accounting transactions

-Monitoring cash forecasts

-Managing month end close process

-Reconciliation of accounts

-Establish and maintain financial controls.

-Assess and improve accounting procedures.

-Preparation of financial statements (internal and external)

-Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.

-Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulations

-Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining personal networks.

-Other duties as assigned

Customer service attitude toward team members and stake holders

NetSuite experience a plus

Proficient in GAAP reporting

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

5+ years relevant experience
