Full Job Description

Meir Schneider, founder of The School for Self-Healing (a small non-profit in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset, by the beach) is looking for a social media producer/graphic designer and office assistant. Founded on the practice that have shown that people can improve their vision and eyesight, health awareness, and physical systems through movement - we work with clients with a wide variety of health problems and also for people wellbeing.

Main responsibilities are for maintaining a favorable image of our work, increasing visibility worldwide and good interaction with clients. This person must be innovative, resourceful, very organized, methodical, proactive and focused. We are a small center and each employee wears many hats. The ideal candidate has troubleshooting capacity, is very energetic, can multitask, a team worker, collaborative and very nice to the customers and is believing in human potential for greater health and vitality. A sense of humor is helpful.

Roles :

Social media

Maintain/develop/improve our website in an attractive way for clients/students and easily maintained by others who might wear that hat. *
Optimize our visibility with search engines and our rank with Google business, YouTube and others *
Update our YouTube channel and maintain his organization by Playlists
Attracting potential clients/students by increasing our presence on other platforms of social media *
Answer wisely emails and comments on social media *

Graphic design

Produce and edit videos and take photos *
Design brochures, flyers, posters and postcards *

Technical work

Support for events *
Download and send content of private sessions to clients (audios and videos)*
Copy CDs and DVDs *
Organize the files in a way it is easy to find them*
Maintain our database and update mailing list *
Answer to clients needs*
Other tasks as they arise (solving problems with computer, preparing packages, answering the phones, tidying up common areas) *

Knowledge :

Proficient with Wordpress (for our website) *
Proficient with computers (Apple and PC), Microsoft suite and technical tasks*
Skills in graphic and design programs *
Highly knowledgeable and efficient in Zoom, Skype, Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, Meet, etc. for business (which is different from private use) and be able to successfully target the holistic community *
Ability to search computers and various media, including old material, on a variety programs *
Highly proficient in the English language (speaking and writing skills), preferably familiar with other languages *
Good sales capacity*

The salary is $30/hour, regular 4 times a week and extra hours upon demand, 8 hours/day on preferred days: Monday to Thursday. Our normal hours are from 10 am to 6 pm. We expect some flexibility in days and hours of the person, if necessary.
