Lead Operations for One of Greater Boston's Premier Plastic Surgery Practices

PURE Cosmetic Center is a physician-owned plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice with locations in Boston and Chelmsford. Our organization includes:

A thriving plastic surgery practice
A luxury medical spa
An accredited surgery center

Our mission is to deliver outstanding surgical results while providing an exceptional patient experience that reflects the highest standards of professionalism, hospitality, and personalized care.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Practice Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing organization.

This is not a traditional office manager position.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing high-performing teams, improving systems, and ensuring operational excellence across every aspect of the practice.

You will work closely with physician leadership to help shape the future growth of the organization while maintaining an exceptional experience for both patients and staff.

Position Overview

The Practice Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Boston and Chelmsford offices, overseeing the administrative and operational performance of our plastic surgery practice, luxury medical spa, and accredited surgery center.

This position requires an experienced operational leader who is equally comfortable coaching team members, improving workflows, supporting front-line operations during busy periods, and implementing systems that improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.

This is a fully in-person leadership role requiring regular travel between both office locations. Occasional evenings and Saturdays may be required based on business needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesPractice Operations

Lead the daily operations of both office locations.
Ensure consistent operational standards, workflows, and patient experiences across all departments.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and organizational performance.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational coverage.
Maintain a well-organized, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Patient Experience & Front-of-House Leadership

Lead by example by remaining actively involved in front desk operations during busy periods.
Support patient check-in, scheduling, phone coverage, and administrative operations when needed.
Ensure every patient receives attentive, personalized, luxury-level service.
Monitor patient flow and resolve operational issues before they affect the patient experience.
Professionally manage escalated patient concerns and service recovery.

Team Leadership

Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop administrative team members.
Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance and service standards.

Business Operations

Monitor key operational metrics including scheduling efficiency, patient satisfaction, productivity, and workflow performance.
Partner with physician leadership to implement strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Assist with vendor relationships, inventory management, purchasing, and office systems.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and patient retention.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Support operational excellence across all areas of the practice, including:

Plastic Surgery
Medical Aesthetics
Ambulatory Surgery Center

Work closely with surgeons, providers, clinical staff, and patient coordinators to ensure seamless communication and exceptional patient care throughout every stage of the patient journey.

Qualifications Required

Minimum three years of leadership or operations management experience.
Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, concierge medicine, luxury hospitality, or another high-touch service environment.
Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage daily operations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Willingness to travel regularly between Boston and Chelmsford.

Preferred

Experience managing multiple locations.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, hospitality, or a related field.
