Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, located in a dynamic manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to structural steel, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed.
Apply paint or coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve a smooth finish.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines effectively.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to improve processes and reduce waste.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment and processes.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices is highly desirable.
Ability to operate telehandler and forklifts.
