Full Job Description

Facilities Coordinator: Neville Chemical Company is a leading manufacturer of low molecular weight thermoplastic and liquid resins that serve a wide variety of applications in the Coatings, Adhesives, Ink and Rubber industries. Customer satisfaction, innovation, and extensive research have been hallmarks for 100 years.

We are seeking a full-time, reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team. The work location is in person.

Responsibilities:

Oversee third-party contractors and internal maintenance activities required to maintain building cleanliness, functionality, and overall condition.
Schedule contractor visits and deliveries and provide building access as needed.
Maintain adequate inventory of office, kitchen, restroom, cleaning, and first-aid supplies. Track supply usage and resolve inventory or service issues with vendors.
Distribute and restock supplies throughout the building.
Process vendor requisitions and purchase orders.
Submit and monitor maintenance requests through completion.
Administer third-party service contracts.
Partner with the plant storeroom to address supply and material needs.
Transport incoming and outgoing deliveries between plant and office locations. This may require operating a company vehicle.
Perform general cleaning as needed, including emptying trash cans and shredders, transporting shredder bins, breaking down boxes and packaging, and removing exterior litter and debris.
Conduct routine interior and exterior building inspections, report identified issues, and complete minor repairs when appropriate.
Support company events by moving furniture, setting up tables, chairs, tents, and other equipment, and assisting with breakdown and cleanup.
Serve as the primary facilities contact for departments throughout the building, ensuring facility-related needs and requests are addressed.
Lead special projects as assigned.
Obtain required work permits in collaboration with the Safety Department.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience & Skills:

2-4 years of experience with facilities maintenance, vendor management, and project coordination.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, walk, climb stairs, and move heavy objects.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills are a must.
Must have technical proficiency in company management software, data entry and e-mail
Good written and oral communication skills are essential
