About Us:
Material Handling Systems, INC is a leading provider of crane manufacturing and maintenance services, committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Crane Welder to join our team at our Braddock, PA warehouse.

Job Summary:
The Crane Welder will be responsible for arc/stick welding, fabricating, and repairing crane components and structures in accordance with industry standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure the integrity and durability of all welded parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform arc/stick welding on crane components and structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Inspect materials and finished welds to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct repairs and modifications on crane frames, booms, and other structural components.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to achieve project goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to workplace safety policies.
Participate in an in-person welding skills demonstration as part of the interview process, evaluated by the branch manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with structural welding and fabrication.
AWS certification or equivalent credentials.
Familiarity with overhead cranes and heavy machinery.
