Full Job Description

We are a family owned full service public accounting firm that provides taxation, accounting, auditing and financial planning services to our individual and business clients. Our firm is currently seeking a full time CPA or candidate actively pursuing their CPA with at least 3-4 years of prior tax preparation experience in a public accounting setting. Our preferred candidate will be a self-motivated individual looking to join and grow with a small team south of Boston.

This position is primarily in-office, and candidates must be located within commuting distance. After an introductory period, some hybrid work is available subject to certain restrictions and for the right candidate.

Job Duties Include:

Prepare and file income tax returns for all entity types, including individual, corporations, partnerships, estates/trusts, and nonprofits.
Prepare financial statements for companies and assist with financial statement engagements in various industries.
Provide clients with tax planning, research and projections as needed.
Work directly with clients to maintain and build strong relationships.
Various other internal support and projects as needed to the managing partners and other staff accountants.

Required criteria:

Minimum of 3-4 years prior tax preparation experience in a public accounting setting
CPA licensure or actively pursuing
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and tax preparation software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent communication and reporting skills
