We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Construction to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

What You'll Do:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing owner-side project management and construction management services throughout all phases of project delivery, from pre-construction through project close-out. The position leads day-to-day project execution, including design coordination, procurement support, project controls, budget and schedule management, construction oversight, stakeholder coordination, executive reporting, contract administration, and regulatory compliance to ensure successful project delivery.
The selected candidate shall be a highly experienced project manager with a proven record of successfully managing complex hospitality, resort, luxury residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. The position requires exceptional leadership, sound technical judgment, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while protecting the client's objectives for quality, cost, schedule, risk management, and overall project success.
Reports to: Principal PE – Executive Oversight
Responsibilities:
- Lead, and mentor multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of project delivery, ensuring effective coordination, accountability, and successful achievement of project objectives.
- Plan project staffing, assign responsibilities, manage resource allocation, and provide leadership, mentoring, and performance oversight to project personnel. Serve as the primary point of coordination among clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Plan, organize, direct, and monitor project activities to achieve established objectives for scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Lead pre-construction activities, including project planning, design coordination, constructability reviews, value engineering, procurement support, bid evaluations, contractor selection, and contract administration.
- Develop, implement, and oversee project controls, including scheduling, cost management, cash flow forecasting, risk management, performance monitoring, issue tracking, and corrective action planning.
- Review and evaluate technical and contractual documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, pay applications, and other project-related documents.
- Coordinate construction activities, field operations, quality assurance and quality control efforts, inspections, permitting activities, and project close-out to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and present executive reports, dashboards, project analyses, forecasts, performance metrics, risk assessments, and management presentations to support informed decision-making by clients and company leadership.
- Ensure effective use of project management systems and document control platforms to maintain complete, accurate, and timely project records, reporting, and communication.
- Identify project risks, evaluate alternatives, develop mitigation strategies, and provide proactive recommendations to support successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, sound technical judgment, effective problem solving, and a commitment to exceptional professional service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable contracts, company policies, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and established project management procedures.
- Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities and level of the position as assigned.
Qualifications: We are looking gor professionals who have:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field. Engineering background preferred.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in project management, construction management, owner’s representation, or senior construction administration roles.
- Demonstrated prior experience in hospitality, resort, luxury residential, commercial, recreational, or mixed-use developments.
- Direct experience with hotel/resort amenities and high-end residential condominium projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or supporting projects with construction values exceeding $20 million, including multiple concurrent workstreams, complex stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting.
- Strong understanding of pre-construction, design coordination, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, procurement, bid evaluation, QA/QC, permitting, contract Senior Project Manager | Page administration, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, change orders, claims, and close-out.
- Experience working in active, occupied, resort, hospitality, or client-sensitive environments where coordination, communication, quality, cleanliness, and operational continuity are critical.
- Knowledge of Puerto Rico permitting, construction inspection, regulatory compliance, and occupancy processes preferred.
- Proficiency with Procore, SharePoint, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project reporting/dashboard tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, writing, presentation, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-support skills.
- Ability to maintain field presence, manage relations with diverse stakeholder groups, work under time pressure, prioritize competing demands, and deliver accurate documentation.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
